The Friends of Forbes are pleased to invite you to apply to our fifth annual fall Artisans Fair. This is an outdoor event- you are responsible for your own tent, tables, and chairs. Each space is 10’x10’ and located in the parking lot. Your tent MUST be secured with weights. The fair will be held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.

DATE: Sunday, October 4th, 2026, 10am-3pm
Set Up: Sunday 7am-9:45am; please be ready to go by 10:00am
Fee: $60 per space

DEADLINE for applications is July 22th

Your participation/status will be confirmed by August 14th by email.

TO APPLY:

Submit the online application and mail a $60 check made out to Friends of Forbes Library to the address below. The completed application will not be considered submitted until the check is received in the mail.

Mail a paper application with a $60 check made out to Friends of Forbes Library.

We will not be returning photos or checks. If you are not selected, your check will be shredded.

We have approximately 48 spaces in the parking lot and on the lawn area. You will be selected from the entire group of applicants, allowing us to select a wide range of items. This fair is advertised as ARTISANS so we are not interested in manufactured, AI designed or copyrighted images.

Email or Upload: 3 photos of your craft, representing all your items , and 1 of your display set up to friends@forbeslibrary.org when you send your application

All communication should be through our email friends@forbeslibrary.org. Please include “Artisans fair” in the subject line and include your business name as well as your name.

We will be holding a raffle to benefit the library and would be most grateful for a donation of one of your items. ($15-$20) on the day of the fair.
